Reaching Clients Through Their Sweet Tooth

12 Jun Reaching Clients Through Their Sweet Tooth

CandyPromotional items have a variety of uses. You may want to use them to increase brand awareness, to have as a giveaway for networking events, or to boost morale. Of course, there are countless other uses for promotional products, but the one we want to talk about today is appealing to your audience through their sweet tooth. There are some people out there who don’t like sweets, but they’re generally outnumbered by those who do. If you’ve never considered using sweet treats to promote your business, maybe it’s time. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Chewing gum:

Gum is a great item for handouts, because there are so many possibilities. You can choose sugar free gum in pop-out packs that come in a fully customizable sleeve when you’re working primarily with adults. At child or family-centered events, you can draw the attention of the kids, and consequently the parents, by passing out brightly colored gumballs. Gumballs come in bulk, the kind you use for a machine, or individually wrapped. Each gumball can be individually stamped with your logo.

From classic round peppermints to butter mints and mints in business card packs or tins, there is a wide range of products available. Mints in tins will give you the most advertising space and will stay with your customer longer. Individually wrapped peppermints or butter mints are easy to pass out at events and to put in a dish on your desk or in your reception area for customers to help themselves.

This one can almost stand on its own. People love chocolate, and the options for using it promotionally are almost endless. The simplest option is individually wrapped chocolate squares with your company logo printed on the wrapper. Higher quality chocolates in customizable boxes make a great option for thank-you gifts during the holiday season and throughout the year.

Customizable containers:

Whether its a round window tin, a wooden pencil cup, or some other reusable and useful container, you can give your sweet treats packaged in something what will hang around longer than the candy that came in it. Your client will see your logo every time they use that pencil cup, and you can customize the treats you choose to include inside.

Treat dispensers:

This includes gumball machines, jelly bean dispensers, glass candy jars and more. If you’re using it in your office, having a dispenser with a logo is a nice touch. If you’re giving it to a client, they’ll be reminded of you whenever they reach over for candy and see your company name. Since these items are visually interesting and serve a purpose, many people are likely to keep and reuse them.
